An exhibition of new large-scale

The Winslow Studio Artist (WSA) gallery at the east end of the museum was a new addition during the rehabilitation of the depot, designed by Allan Affeldt with the help of architect Max Licher. The gallery features the work of artists associated with the preservation of La Posada and resurgence of Winslow Arizona.

Snowdrift Art Space is a Located in the depot at La Posada Hotel, the Affeldt Mion Museum (AMM) in Winslow Arizona celebrates the many artists that contributed to Winslow’s rich cultural heritage, from Navajo and Hopi, to Fred Harvey and Mary E.J. Colter, to the modern collective of artists who came to Winslow thanks to the rehabilitaion of La Posada Hotel.

Unfixed: New Painting, Arizona State University — The Winslow Arts Council is gearing up for its Second Annual Winslow Arts Festival, set to take place on April 29 at the Route 66 Plaza in Winslow, Arizona. The event will run from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and will feature live entertainment and a diverse collection of artists showcasing their work.

It's the midpoint of Route Within a few blocks of Affeldt Mion Museum, you’ll find a variety of Studios in historic Winslow buildings that resulted from the rehabilitation and preservation of La Posada Hotel. We dedicate this page to those who have contributed to the arts, historic preservation, and success of Winslow Arizona.

Arizona Women Artists Active Before There is also the historic depot, built for the Santa Fe Railway as the Winslow stop. It too was designed by La Posada architect, Mary E.J. Colter. In that historic depot, you’ll find Affeldt Mion Museum (AMM), featuring the Winslow History and Winslow Studio Artists (WSA).
